I really really really love these needles.I am SO glad I bought them. I used to write knitting patterns for a living and know good needles are half the battle. And these needles are everything. I got them in the pink, because that was on sale lol.I love the grey colour ones though. I have one set of the grey dpn's and fell in love with them the first time I used them. So whe. They came out with the set, I knew I would buy it. I had to save up, but I got it eventually and I could not be happier with the purchase. So smooth! The tips could be a wee bit pointyer for my liking, but it is not a deal breaker. And the sizes could be printed a bit bigger, or maybe in a colour that would make it easier to read, but if they are in the pouch, all I have to do is count up and I know what size it is. (Most of the time I don't care about size. I have knitted for over 40 years and chose them by feel rather than size for any given yarn lol, but it is hard to read and I have to call my son over to check it for me, even with my glasses on.)I will def save up and get the set of dpns as well eventualky, because I love how they feel.I had a set of ChiaoGoo needles which I am going to give to my daughter. They were great, but not as great as my new lykke. The cords are nice, I wpul like them to be a bit easeir to straighten out, but one can't have everything, I guess. I have seen people say they replaced them. I don't find it quite that annoying just yet lol, so I will stick with them. I might run them through some steam at some point. That has straightened out any other cable I ever had. (Except the crystal palace ones. Never again!)The needles and cables are nice and light. I could k it for hours (which I frequently do).I separated the cables all into they own little baggies by size. Makes it easier to find, plus I had some super cute ikea zip lock baggies with the little ikea horsees on them, so why not?I have these as my wooden needles and I have a set of Hyia Hyias as a metal set with really nice tips for my lace knitting. I am set.All in all I would absolutely recommend these sets and maybe I will get one for my daughter as well, but I have already bought her a set of Hyia Hyias and she is getting my chiao goo and I did give her my set of addi clicks, because the needle part was too short and made my hands cramp. Lol.I think she has enough needles now lol.
