This dress is flattering and looks great but I’m 5”2 115 lbs and it is LONG both in length of dress and sleeves - so I took it to be shortened which will cost me another $25. I got the size small Navy. Not good for short girls unless you want to pay to have it altered.Loved the fabric. Easy care. Add jewelry and dress it up.It's a beautiful dress and very comfortable. Fits wonderfulThe ruching is key. I have the navy. Wish there were more colors.Nice dark green color on the jersey dress. Oddly stretched out neck and side ruching. Neckline would not lay correctly. DisappointedThis has entered into my wife's regular rotation because it is comfy, fits well, looks great on her. It's really cute!I like a lot of things about this dress. The fit seems very accurate. It's neither larger nor smaller than I would expect it to be. It's made from wonderful material---silky and slippery and just a joy to have next to the skin. It's the kind of weight that would be fine for almost all year, except the very hottest days. It's easy care---machine wash and hang to dry, but in the future I might risk a low machine dry! I love it that it's made with care for the environment. I also like the price---quite reasonable for a nice dress!The only thing I don't like as well is how this looks on. It's just not a flattering style. It's not the fit, it's more how it kind of shows off every curve---the ones you want to share and the ones you don't! The styling is such that you pretty much have to be perfectly proportioned to make it look good. However, because I'm old enough to say to heck with it sometimes, I am wearing this a lot anyway, because it's so comfy and feels so good on!I really like the stretchy jersey material of this dress. I'm 61, 5'3", 38DD, about 150 pounds, and I'm carrying some weight in the middle right now. This dress is very comfortable to wear. I like that it is just a plain dark color and that the material is stretchy. It kind of feels like wearing a leotard.Being on the short side, the dress comes to near the ankles. It does show all the curves. The down side is that it definitely shows my belly curve (not in a good way). However, it looks great with a lightweight long-ish black cardigan sweater-jacket (cover-up). It is very comfy for me to wear--wearing this with the long sweater and flats looks nice and "dressy enough" for me to wear out to a concert or dinner with friends.So basically -- nice material -- not very flattering to the waist-line if one is not slim.I bought this dress fully expecting to return it but I was interested to try it. It has now become a favourite part of my wardrobe and I'll probably buy more colours. The chocolate brown is a beautifully rich colour. The fabric feels silky smooth and so lovely against my skin. I am a size 10 with a bit of a tummy (I'm 49 years old) and the size small looks great. I'm 5'2" and it hits almost at my ankle but the split up the side gives plenty of movement. I have been wearing this with a long cardigan and tights underneath (mid-March in the UK) but I can see as the days get warmer, I'll be wearing it on its own with sandals or trainers. So pleased with this purchase. And, guess what, we all have something we want to hide about our bodies. ALL of us. BUT!! And that's a big one. There is a reason why YOU TOTALLY HAVE TO BUY THIS DRESS. First, it is environmentally friendly, and a true friend it is, 100%. And, when you put this dress on, 'I'm sexy and I know it' is immediately there - it's on your skin, the fabric slithers down your arms and hugs your forms and you have that revelation, epiphany moment of I AM BEAUTIFUL. There are rarely clothes that bring that with them. But this fabric, this design, this feel works wonders. And for that alone this is a dress worth having. And if there is that little something that nags you against putting this dress and stepping outside wearing it alone, once you put it on and have a jacket over it, the feel is still there and it becomes your hidden strength and secret weapon. Let it be there for you, feel it, work it and enjoy. I am definitely keeping this dress and I found one more use for it. This dress is truly THERAPEUTIC. Once you feel good in it, you step in front of the mirror and realise that that feeling comes with all the bits you wanted to be unseen. And you begin to feel better about them, too. The feel works with the look, so if you are in need of a bit of a confidence boost, get the dress and put it on, feel it first, and then, when you are brave, step in front of the mirror. See?
