This was a great choice of a product to keep our ducklings in for their first weeks until they were ready to go outside. Ducklings are VERY messy- water and poop e v e r y w h e r e- so thankfully this was easy to take out and hose off/wipe down daily. I didn't install the platform or waterer so I can't speak to those, but there was enough space for five ducklings who quickly grew into ducks between the brooder heater, waterer, and food bowl. This worked for our purposes but definitely isn't sturdy; for an example, the nubs where the cage attaches to the base were easy to put on, but also snapped off the cage and I quickly lost two of them. Overall I'd recommend this for use to house small, non-aggressive animals, and I'd use it again for raising ducklings. This cage is great. Just like most people are saying it is really easy to clean. I have 2 guinea pigs and they have lots of room to move around. It is a very large cage which is great for them to move around in. It's very sturdy. I had it for almost 2 years now and holds up great. I would definitely recommend this cage.We initially ordered this by mistake for a Syrian hamster without checking measurements. When it arrived, it was actually perfect for our Lionhead rabbit. We now have two connected together and it's just like an indoor rabbit run! He hops from one side to the other doing binkies. I love that it opens both on top and in front so he can be social when he wants to be and I can reach in to clean his litter box and feed him with one hand and not have to struggle with taking things apart everyday. Takes less than 10 mins. to unbox and throw it together; great value and super functional!Good quality, large cage for guinea pig to run around and do zoomies! We’ve had this cage for a whole week now and it was an upgrade and larger than her first cage. She appears to be enjoying the extra space and the 2nd level for sure. She loves laying on top of or under the 2nd level, like a little hideaway for her. I’d would definitely recommend this cage.Very sturdy cage, the pan is very deep though so it may be hard for animals to jump in and out if that’s something you do.I still cannot believe the price for what you get. I have researched many a cage for guinea pigs over the years and for a great starter setup it cannot be beat. This setup should be a standard setup in the pet stores at this price point. I have had guinea pigs for many years and purchased the jumbo for two, 3 year old female guinea pigs, to be used as a traveling cage when out in our RV. They already have a guinea pig mega palace in our house but with two needed something that met space requirements. I like the bar construction and silver color as I have a chewer so it should be less noticeable when she marks them up but the bottom is high so hopefully she will leave most of them alone. I plan to use the deck as the feeding center as the large opening on the top will allow easy access for cleaning and for getting their food bowls, pellets, hay etc. in and out. Also the large opening at the top means that taking them in and out of the cage will stop them from getting their back paws caught in the bars as happens with other cages and smaller openings. Daily cleaning should be a breeze as well. I use cotton towels covered by fleece on the bottom and the deck will gets pee pads covered by standard guinea pig bedding. I have already tested their ability to negotiate the ramp and as reported by other reviews it is the one downside as it is very slick and mature gps are quite hesitate to use it even though mine are familiar with ramps covered in felt in their usual cage. Smaller gps will probably get used to it but mature gps can be a bit stubborn when it comes to new things and routines.I did modify the ramp using a piece of coroplast purchased from the local home improvement store (color is limited but much cheaper than online) wrapped it in felt and secured on the underside with double-sided carpet tape. Drilling holes at the top and bottom ….this is secured to to the ramp by zipties and does not move. It makes it much better and more solid for them and their weight. I also modified the upper deck area by measuring and cutting out coroplast which is attached to the 3 sides of the cage around the deck so they feel comfortable and hidden while eating. GPs generally will not eat out in the open and I did not want them to eat under the deck because they do fight over food or their special eating space. If they are being watched the dominant one will behave. This will also keep the bedding, their feces, hay etc. in the cage and not spilling thru the bars. This was also attached by using zipties. Finally I cut a piece of coroplast for the top over the deck again in the interest of their well being and being hidden while eating. In the future I plan to get a piece of cloudy Lexan for the top to make it brighter but had extra coroplast to use up. This was secured under the bars of the top again using zipties. Now I have a very functional deck which makes it easier for me to feed them, watch them and clean. I do not use hayracks as the gps just pull all the hay down and then burrow into it. If I did I would have had to cut one side of the coroplast shorter to allow for the hayrack and water bottle. I attached pictures of my modifications. Even with some modifications ...this cage is a deal!It works well, it's a bit expensive! It needs rope handles or something to make it easier ro move.In 2020, people should know that cages measuring 100 x 50 cm or even 120 x 60 cm are too small to keep guinea pigs. As a reminder, guinea pigs should be kept at least in pair - to avoid loneliness. I am sad to think that some guinea pigs will spend their lives in such a small space. Two guinea pigs need at least 10ft square of space - this cage is half of that. Also be careful when buying cages: often the given measurement are external dimensions. What matters is obviously internal dimensions which are often smaller by a few cms and this matters! There are nowadays great cages called C&C cages that are way bigger but also flexible so you can easily give more space to your pets when you can.So yes I regret buying this overpriced, tiny piece of molded plastic.I'm baffled by the previous negative reviews complaining that this isn't suitable for their hamsters! This is because it isn't a hamster cage!! ? The description clearly states for rabbits, guinea pigs etc.I've had guinea pigs/rabbits all of my life and so have had plenty of cages for them. I was suprised by the quality of this one, given the price. It's sturdy, well made and the base is quite high which prevents sawdust being flicked around the room (which drives me nuts!). The added extras are a bonus! It also opens at the top and the side and the doors are both really big so it's easy to pick up your pet. It took me a little while to work out how to open and lock the doors but that's probably just me being daft.I bought the large one so that I could bring my 2 guinea pigs inside whilst it's so cold and it's plenty big enough for them. They also really like the platform bit as they can hide underneath. All in all a great purchase!Very strong and durable stable cage with secure locking. I'm very happy with this purchase. Grate quality cage for my rabbit and value for money. I would strongly recommend this cage to everyone.Good cage, it is suitable for hamsters. Do not put your guinea pigs or rabbits in them as it has not got the floor space needed. Unless you have a cage outside and you are only using this for night then don’t permanently keep your guinea pigs or rabbits in it. Sturdy. Easy to assembleArrivata nonostante il periodo (covid19) in tempi veloci, la gabbia è fatta molto bene e ' resistente e facile da pulire. Sono rimasta veramente contenta dato l'enorme spazio.
