Works good l, good size for toddlers.. just over time be careful some screws did fall out and you have to find where they fall out fromThis set is overall beautiful, very realistic in its appearance. Love the little shelves and spaces along the set. Now, the assembly time run extremely long, my fiancé began putting it together and my brother completed it with him. This is somewhat of a 2 person’s job unless you have the time and patience to complete alone. There are tons of small screws, wood pieces but it does come with the little tools you need to assemble, but you may want to have your own screwdriver nearby. Once done my son was very happy, none of the items BESIDES THE PHONE are included (we already had these toys prior). There is small issue that probably only brothers me which is, the fridge door is kind of off track, we took it off twice and still doesn’t close fully. Every other door is fine, but we put in magnets on the others so they stay closed. Going to put a lights in the microwave, stove & fridge. Great price for an item I feel can be passed along sibling to sibling or gifted! Happy son, happy mama!My hats off to the person who engineered this kitchen. Easy instructions and every part fit perfect! Normally, in a project like this, I will use every cuss word in my vocabulary. I didn't use one, my wife was shocked and my grand-daughter loves her kitchen!!!We were looking for a play kitchen but had very limited space to put one. I stumbled on this and it was kismet! Our kitchen is grey/white and our living room is red, and this ties both rooms together like it was made for us! Assembly definitely took about 3 hours and I’m pretty well versed in doing things like that. But the materials were well built and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. My 16 month old went right to it when he woke up this morning and he absolutely loves it! I’m adding battery powered motion sensor lights to it later today that I found for $10/3 pack. Although it’s great as-is, I think the lights will make it perfect! Was a bit difficult to assemble due to so many small partsMuy buenoWe bought this in red for our 16 month old for Christmas. It is absolutely the perfect size for her. Had we bought another brand, it would have been too big and she would have not been able to play with it to its fullest potential. It was pretty easy to put together, HOWEVER, I do have some advice:1. When assembling the 4 little legs, PRE-DRILL the existing holes, otherwise you will end up like I did and have to order replacement parts (which was no biggie, because KidKraft has EXCELLENT customer service and sent me whatever I asked for in about 3 days at NO CHARGE- awesome!)2. Have both a manual and electric screwdriver on hand, because some of those little hinge screws can be troublesome with a manual driver.3. You will need to have a (very) short common screw driver because when you attach the top piece, it is hard to access the locking heads with a standard-sized driver.4. Have someone hold the doors for you as you screw in the hinge screws, and use that same person to help tighten those screws with the wrench (so much easier with two people!)5. DO NOT unwrap any of the little pieces until you need them because you will need the numbers to stay on them, and do not take off the numbers from the pieces until you have completely assembled the product.I think it took about 1.5 hrs to assemble after I had to start over due to my first attempt, failure, and ordering replacement parts. The directions were all pictures which I prefer because of the numbering system. The price was excellent as compared to others. We searched for a suitable kitchen set for a 16 month old, and this was excellent in both size and value for the money. It seems extremely durable and is a good weight so that it can't be pulled over. I love all the little features, too: the doors that open(and the microwave and oven have "glass" doors), the knobs that turn and click, the water dispenser on the fridge door, the phone, and my favorite, the turntable in the microwave. It also is very authentic with a vintage style that is unlike any others I've seen. It is a nice piece of furniture, not just a toy, that looks good in our living room.We also got some food and accessory kits: all wooden food sets-cutting food box, pantry and fridge products, sandwich making set, and magnetic bottle set(Melissa and Doug), stainless pots and pans (Just like Home), and the plate set (Green Toys) which we got all from Amazon. These got perfectly with it, and I will purchase more of this kind for future gifts!Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this product and this company. I cannot wait to see how my daughter will play with this as she grows and develops.I am very pleased with this product. I bought this for my 2yr old great grandaughter and 3 yr old great grandson. It came well packaged and in perfect condition, but in many pieces. It took this great grandmother several hours to put it together. It had fairly good instructions with pictures. It is sturdy and I love the red color. I enjoy watching both my grandchildren having fun playing with it. I'm very glad I chose this play kitchen to purchase for them.Far too hard to assemble - took 6 hours with help (though I am pregnant so bending in some positions to screw parts on was a tall order), but worth it in the end as the product is sturdy and well loved by my daughter. The faucets keep coming undone though and it’s too much work to imagine disassembly to fix them. Overall, 4 stars for the construction tedium.Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Disappointed for a few reasons. 1) A week after I purchased it, it went on sale, Amazon refused to refund me the difference although I could return it (at their cost) have it refunded and purchase again at the lower cost. To me this goes against their sustainability pledge but whatever. 2) You can also see from the photos, some of the panels didn't line up exactly, there were (small) scratches on the front of the fridge and I don't know if you can tell but the fridge front panel is a darker red than the rest of the kitchen. Ultimately my daughter won't care bout these and these issues don't change the functionality of the kitchen. My 2 1/2 year old son is thrilled with this! It is very solidly made and looks fantastic. The only downside is that it took 2 adults about 4 hours to build! It is more complicated than building an adult kitchen... so many parts and pages and pages of instructions. So if you have a person who loves to build, then great. If you want a quick set up, don't go for this one. This is was the easiest wooden kitchen to build, the instructions were spot on and the screws and bolts that you needed were all numbered which made is so much easier. And it even came with spare screws etc which was fantastic and I didn't need to use.I highly recommend this Kitchen and my son loves it.Arrived promptly. Took some time to build but clear enough instructions without too much bother. Got to say I managed the construction all by myself! Once built it's a lovely looking little kitchen and just the right size. I bought this for my 14 month old daughter who already loves it. Not even walking yet but she cruises around it and reaches into all the different sections. Even make believes her cooking skills! I have it in my living room as it's a real talking point amongst family and friends. Sturdy and a good size, my little one is likely to have many years of fun with this beauty. The red colour is as vibrant as the picture and I really cannot express how cute it is. Got some red pans to go with it which match perfectly. Just some play food to add then the collection will be complete!
