I really hesitated on ordering these, but 1) I needed some for an outfit and 2) there were so many reviews, I thought I could guess pretty well on the size. It worked! I wear between 9 and 10 wide, and based on the reviews, ordered the 10. I usually have problems with the heel slipping, but these are just right. There is a little soft ridge on the inside back of the heel that helps, even though you don't feel it. The reason I didn't give four stars is that there is no support at all, and I wouldn't want to wear these to work, for example. YMMV. By the way, I got the black shoes. In a lot of clothing these days, different colors often fit differently (separate factories?), and it's helpful to me when people mention color in their reviews.I'm giving this four stars for what it is, not what I'd like it to be. These are a basic pair of cheap flats. No big deal. You need something to fold up in your bag in case you have to walk through a gravel parking lot in heels? Keep these in your bag. You need a pair to keep around in case your tennis shoes aren't "fancy" enough? These are fine. I got the nude ones and they look kind of cheap, but they are $20 so that's what I expect. I did have to return my first pair and go up a half size. I wear a 10 in everything, always, but I needed a 10.5 in these. I had hoped these to be a good pair of running around flats, but there is really not much too them so I don't think they are good for long days on your feet. They do come in a ton of fun colors, and they are affordable, just some of these reviews make it sound like they are magical. They are not magical, they are a nice pair of cheap flats.I wear a size women’s U.S, size 9. My first pair were a light tan color, and my toes were banging against the end. Since these seem to run short, I ordered my next pair a half size up. They are more comfortable. There is no arch support. However, the shoe feels comfortable with the soft cushion insole. I have been wearing these with bare feet. It is possible that pantyhose or knee-high “cheaters” will be okay, but I doubt that I would be able to wear these with socks. I plan on buying more of these in different colors.I've always liked my shoes to be comfortable and these have been perfect! They are simple, elegant, and I can wear them for extended periods of time (they don't rub my heels). I bought these to replace a pair of A.N.A. tan flats that I had - these Amazon Essential ones are basically a dupe for them. The only complaint that I have is that the sole in the heel is starting to get worn out.Also, if you have wide feet, these may not be for you. My Mom and I have the same size shoe and I have a relatively narrow foot and my Mom has a wide foot. She tried them on they were pretty stretched out (did not look like they had any support for her, although she did get them on).Overall, they are a great edition to my closet. I will purchase again. They offer that classic comfort and are affordable.Since I stand 5'10", my feet have been an issue most of my life for being on the big side. As my dad used to say, "you need a good foundation" lol I'm getting these flats in a few colors because I finally found my sizing - I had to go a 1/2 or whole size up. Because I recently lost a lot of weight, I don't know my current shoe size but all my own shoes are loose now. I figured I could go down a tad in these, but nope.Look, they're $20 shoes, so I'm not going to get lathered up about some wrinkles in the pleather. If you loved the flats from Payless, yes, these are very similar. As expected, no arch support. The toebox is not high, so if your toes curl up, you'll be scraping the inner tops. Mine don't curl up but I can see my big toe nail pressing it a little.These are great for filling in the colors I couldn't snag from Payless before they closed. I don't think they'll take a huge beating, but for shopping and such, they'll be fine. Mine were comfy right out of the bag.Take note if you're looking at the dark brown - it is *really* dark, and my pair is getting sent back for the dark camel instead. The fake leather is a little unconvincing, while the microfiber/fake suede ones look exceptionally good.I see Amazon has many sizes and colors coming up "We don't know if or when this will be back" - Amazon, this is a great staple, please keep them coming.It was summer and I need a pair of flats for work but all the box store only had open toe ones so I resorted to Amazon. I’m glad I did. These are holding up great! The only problem I had was the fuzzy like lining on the inside coming off but it has subsided now. These are my go to flats now!Beautiful pair of shoes, fit as expected, my feet is 5.5 and 6 depend of the brand and style.I go ahead and odered a 6. And it fit as expected. I like my new pairs of shoes but it is very uncomfortable, it's hurt my sesamoid bone as hell, I have normal feet, it shouldn't hurt me like this... it also hurt at the back, Iam thinking maybe it because of the elastic or... hm... iam forcing myself not to return it cause I like it, look conformable. J'avais un peu peur de la qualité et la solidité de la chaussure mais elles sont bien malgré qu elles ne sont pas en cuir ; petit prix mais je ne suis pas déçue et en recommanderai dans d autres couleurs. On est très à l'aise dedans, souples comme dans des chaussons, on peut facilement les porter plusieurs heures. L arrière est très bien fait et pas de risques d ampoules ( c est ce que je redoutais). Je fais un bon 38 et pris un 39 pour ne pas être serrée vu l élastique sur les côtés.(sur l étiquette j ai pu voir qu en réalité c est un 38,5!! Don't bother! I received these Wednesday evening, it is now Monday and the toe is already peeling. I had a long weekend and wasn't out very much on the weekend wearing these. They are also not breathable at all so although they are comfy, they get sweaty fast. I'd never heard of 'Amazon Essentials' before and I thought for £17, they were worth a shot. I cannot believe how comfortable these are! The fit is spot on and the material is soft so no rubbing. I'm on my feet all day in work so I need something comfortable and these are ideal. The sole inside has a cushion so it doesn't feel as though you're walking with no shoes on, like some other ballet flats I've had before. Can't recommend enough! Tempted to get a second pair already.These more than lived up to my expectations. They fit superbly (I am size 5 with slightly narrow feet).I was surprised at the padded sole interior - they are extremely comfortable. Add to that the fact that they look smart and were here the next day . Very pleased with purchase.
